Want to get ahead of the Easter basket game? I always try to have a good mix of treats like a small chocolate bunny, fruit leather, or Annie’s Bunny Snacks and some non-treat items. These are some of my favorites this year.

This little mold is so cute! Making homemade gummy bears is a favorite kitchen activity at our house, and this cute mold will really up our game! It has bunnies (so cute for Easter), pandas, monkeys, and owls. The fun dropper lets kids fill the mold all by themselves and strengthens grip, builds autonomy, and creates a sense of pride all in one activity.

These cute sunnies are going in my four year old’s basket this year. They are flexible (a must with a 16 month old sister running around) and polarized. Ever since I found out that having non-polarized sunglasses actually hurt your eyes more, because it causes your eyes to open more and let in more damaging light, I’ve looked for polarized sunglasses for the whole family. Living in Colorado means we get around 300 sunny days a year, so these are a priority for us. Plus, these are so cute and less than $20.

I’ve been on the hunt for a smaller size coffee cup for my four year old. She loves to have tea (diluted herbal tea) sometimes when we have our coffee in the morning. I usually let her use one of my cups, but I always hesitate. We culled our collection down to my absolute favorites when we moved to Colorado last year, and I keep imagining it smashing to the floor. I love that these are handmade, stylish, and a smaller size for little hands. I like to encourage her to use breakable dishware, to learn how to handle fragile things, but maybe just not with my favorite mugs. Love that these pastel shades tie in with Easter so nicely.

My daughter loves having her fruit “tea”. I let her pick out the flavor, and I make a big jar using one tea bag. That lasts us a few weeks, because I dilute with about half water. Fun way to get in some extra antioxidants. Would make a great pairing with the cute ceramic mug.

Growing up, we often got new swim suits for Easter. It was such a fun way to celebrate the coming of spring and endless warm days spent at the neighbor’s pool. I love this brand because they are long sleeve, UPF 50+ sun protection, and they have so many cute patterns.

We love puppets at our house! Just this morning, my daughter put on a puppet show while we had our morning coffee. I love seeing the endless creativity that comes from a blank stage and a bin full of puppets.

Having a backyard pool escape has been indispensable during this last year. What a great way to avoid crowded pools this summer and not have to worry about pool closures. Check out this fun dinosaur-themed one that has a ring toss, sprayer, slide, and wading pool.

These little wooden eggs make different musical sounds when shaken or twisted. I love the idea of giving an Easter gift that can be used for years to come. My 16 month old knows exactly where our music bin is, and will pull it out and pass out instruments for family band time. Fun, loud chaos ensues.

My daughter received a set like this when she turned 1, and she still uses it three years later. This would be so cute paired with some seed packets and a bag of soil. There’s nothing more exciting than being able to use your present right away! These are also great tools for a sand box or just backyard play. I love that they are metal and sturdy enough to actually use. She gets a kick out of using her own watering can to water the plants every day.

I haven’t met a kid that doesn’t LOVE bubbles. There is something so gleeful and purely summer about a kid chasing bubbles in the backyard. Because I’ve gotten tennis elbow some days from endless requests for bubbles to be blown, I invested in a bubble machine. It creates a magical bubble wonderland, and the best part? No sticky bubble hands for you. Welcome to your next hands-off parenting win. Maybe add a gallon of bubble solution to your cart too. You’ll thank me.

If your kid is like mine, they love to find the LONGEST books in your house for bedtime. Whoever created the 5 minute stories series is genius. Each story takes only 5 minutes to read. She loves picking out the stories from the table of contents, which is a great way to convince her to lie down and get ready for sleep. One of my favorite ways to celebrate the holidays is to bring out our holiday books from the basement. Tucking them away all year keeps them fresh and exciting. The four year old now remembers her favorites and gets so excited to see them again.

Add a little whimsy to your Easter Sunday with this hilarious bunny ear ring toss game. So perfect for a fun, at-home celebration this year.
