Dried Citrus Ornaments

One of my favorite easy, cheap decoration activities to do with kids during the holiday season is dried oranges. I’m seeing them everywhere this year, and I am for it! If you are tired of keeping 800 hand print reindeer, this craft is for you. They are so beautiful, take 2 minutes to prep, and have your kitchen smelling like warm citrus all morning. Plus, when the season is over, you can toss them in the compost bin.

Once the oranges are dried in the oven, you can hang them anywhere you like without mess. These eco-friendly ornaments are a great way to welcome the season. Bonus points if you use up old oranges from the depths of the produce drawer.

They really are having a moment this year. I used mine on a scented wreath.
