Is it too early? Maybe. But school starting puts me in the mood for fall. I’m ready for a chill in the air, cozy sweaters, and warm soups. However, here in Houston it is still in the 90’s every day. I will have to settle for making a new and improved pumpkin spice blend to use on everything from applesauce and yogurt to warm cider. I like to double this recipe and have it ready for yummy fall treats.

It may be a little early for pumpkin spice, but at least we’ll be ready. I like the flavor of this blend much more than what you can buy in the store, and as an added bonus, no weird anti-caking agents. Who knows whats in those?
